Introducing the New Canadian CCA Program
Through the technical training program, the Canadian Center for Architecture wishes to share its experiences with young students or graduates in the fields of architecture, design, arts and humanities interested in exploring the editorial aspects and values ​​of architecture.
The selected candidates will be invited to familiarize themselves with the CCA approach – particularly its group-related activities, exhibitions, editorial projects and research programs – during a nine-month training period in Montreal from the fall of 2020.
The application deadline is March 9, 2020.
Eligibility and conditions to participate in the new Canadian CCA program
All students or young professionals born on or after January 1, 1990 are eligible for this annual training program for exhibition trustees, regardless of their nationality and place of residence.
The internship program allocates CAD $ 2,500 per month to the trainee, over a nine-month period to cover housing and living expenses in Montreal (according to income tax laws in Canada and Quebec, if applicable).
The languages ​​used in the CCA are French and English.
The training is not renewable.
Responsibilities and tasks in the Canadian New CCA Program
Under the responsibility of the Senior Coordinator, the trainees will collaborate in research activities, exhibitions, publications, educational initiatives, public events, communication and collection activities.
